ELITE SPORTS COACHING
Table Tennis – Tennis – Mini Tennis - Badminton
At Gavin Rumgay Racket Sports we specialise in providing our clients with the type of coaching and training that will help them fulfil their potential. Whether you’re a beginner or an established player we will create a programme around your needs and desires.
Our success, to date, has been based around our coaches understanding that everyone is different and that you cannot apply the same training methods to all clients. We take time to understand your objectives, analyse your psychological approach to training and matches, as well as assessing your fitness levels. Whilst raising the level of technical skill is the aim of most players, our experienced coaches understand it takes more than that to improve your game. As a result we focus on four main areas:
- Technical Skills
- Tactical Ability
- Physical Fitness
- Mental Resilience
Our objective is to design a bespoke training programme for each of our clients, which will encompass all you need to achieve your potential.
How does it work?
Typically, you would undergo assessment and analysis, followed by a discussion about your objectives and our findings. The next stage will be for your coach to create a bespoke programme, which he will agree with you. He will also advise you of how long he believes it will take for you to complete the programme. This will be expressed in hours. If you sign up for six sessions or more, we are happy to offer a discount.
So what could a typical programme include?

- One to One Coaching or Group Coaching
- Multi-ball Training
- Robot Practice
- Serving & Receiving
- Video Analysis
- Match Tactics

- Strength and Endurance Training

Bats, rackets and balls are all supplied but if you want to buy your own, your coach will be happy to recommend something suitable.
